By assigning segments to customers, we can create customer groups to which we can then define delivery methods, articles or promotions, and products available only to them.
To assign a segment to a customer you need to:
- Log in to Administration Panel
- Go to Client tab
- Go to edit the details of the customer to whom you want to assign the segment
- In the edit panel, complete the field values:
- Segment - this is the main customer segment used to define the delivery methods available to the customer and all the settings included in the "Additional segments"
- Additional segments - additional customer segments used to define items, promotions or products available to the customer
- Press the "Update" button to save the changes
