What is SEO?
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) In other words, website positioning means website optimisation and marketing activities which will make the website take the highest possible place in search engines for popular key words related to its subject matter. ETIM system allows us to adjust various SEO attributes to our products.
How to configure SEO attributes in a specific product?
- Log in to ETIM platform
- Select the product you want to configure from the product list
- Go to the SEO section of the selected product tab
- At the top of the table, click the edit button
- Complete the values for SEO attributes
- Accept the entered data by pressing the "Save" button
Variables available for configuration
Attribute name | Attribute description |
Index | The attribute responsible for indexing subpages. It takes the values True (Yes) or False (No) |
Follow | Attribute indicating whether search engine robots will search the site. When you select No (false), the product page will not be visible in the search engines. |
Meta description | This variable provides search engines and search engine users with a short description of the selected subpage. Depending on the query, this description is most often displayed within the fragment of the link representing a given subpage in search results. |
Meta keywords | In this attribute we can specify the keywords by which the search engine can search for a particular page. The subsequent keywords must be separated by a separator ','. |
Title | Attribute used to determine the name of the product tab browser page. |
H1 | The title tag is a strong signal to search engine crawlers on what the page content is all about. |
